Mel and Mo's wedding shower was held in Lakewood on April 7, 2007, at the historic Nicholson House. Nicole, maid of honor, planned the event with generous assistance from family and friends. There was also a champagne toast and wonderful food and pastries. The festivities included a contest in which teams of two people each designed and modeled "wedding gowns" made of toilet paper. Lois Zoll (model) and Myra Zoll (designer) won the top award.
