Celebrating Barb's Retirement

On August 15, close to forty people gathered in a party suite at Progressive Field to celebrate Barb's retirement. Carly and Jim hit a grand slam (just like Pronk) in planning and executing the event, and it was wonderful to have so many family members, friends and colleagues there. From the venue to Carly's speech, Jim's display, the fun games that Jen and family planned, and Tiffany getting the "gameball" with all the participants' signatures, everyone had a great time. And you can't forget the "dessert cart"! To top it all off, The Tribe defeated the Mariners 9 to 1.

Welcome Sami James!

On July 27 we welcomed our grandson Sami James Ridaoui into the world! Proud parents Melanie and Mo are now immersed in all the wonderful activities involved with a new baby. And as grandparents we couldn't be prouder. He is so cute! Here are a few photos.

Hilton Head

The last week of July - hot and humid - especially in South Carolina.
But that didn't stop us from having a great time at Hilton Head with Jeff,Lexi, Michaela and Nathan. Lexi already did two great postings of our adventures at www.thepearcefamily.blogspot.com.
